COMMON side effects

If experienced, these tend to have a Severe expression i

  • obstruction of a blood vessel by a blood clot
  • damage to the liver and inflammation
  • acute inflammation of the pancreas
  • high blood sugar

If experienced, these tend to have a Less Severe expression i

  • fever
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • a feeling of general discomfort called malaise
  • a low amount of protein in the blood

INFREQUENT side effects

If experienced, these tend to have a Severe expression i

  • high amount of triglyceride in the blood
  • abnormal liver function tests
  • a significant type of allergic reaction called anaphylaxis

If experienced, these tend to have a Less Severe expression i

  • low blood sugar
  • low blood pressure
  • joint pain
  • muscle pain
  • a tonic-clonic seizure
  • decreased appetite
  • reactions at the site of the injection
  • fast heartbeat

RARE side effects

If experienced, these tend to have a Severe expression i

  • a systemic inflammatory response called sepsis due to an infection with bacteria
  • high cholesterol
  • decreased function of bone marrow
  • increased risk of bleeding due to clotting disorder
  • decreased blood platelets
  • low levels of white blood cells
  • a blood clot in the brain
  • a blood clot
  • bleeding
  • high amount of bilirubin in the blood
  • a type of allergic reaction called angioedema
  • a hypersensitivity reaction to a drug
  • necrotizing pancreatitis, or inflammation and tissue death in the pancreas

  • vocal cord swelling
  • bronchospasm
  • erythema or redness of skin or mucous membrane
  • hives
  • a skin rash
  • puffy skin
