- management or monitoring precaution: Neuro/Psych-Boxed Warning-Increased mortality in elderly patients with dementia-related psychosis. Not approved for treatment of dementia-related psychosis. Cardiovascular-Orthostatic hypotension more likely in the elderly. QT prolongation risk. Metabolic changes from atypical antipsychotics may increase cardiovascular/cerebrovascular risk. Endocrine-May unmask or worsen diabetes. Hyperprolactinemia may occur due to dopamine D2 blockade.

- Severe Precaution: Safety and efficacy not evaluated age < 10 years.
