Who should not take Capcof?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

  • Partial Heart Block
  • Rapid Ventricular Heartbeat
  • Slow Heartbeat
  • chronic heart failure
  • Severe Hardening of the Arteries
  • Blood Clot in an Artery
  • acute inflammation of the liver
  • Acute Inflammation of the Pancreas
  • Enlarged Prostate
  • decreased oxygen in the tissues or blood
  • closed angle glaucoma
  • Stenosing Peptic Ulcer
  • Stomach or Intestine Blockage
  • Blockage of Urinary Bladder
  • Cannot Empty Bladder
  • Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease
  • chronic idiopathic constipation
  • systemic mastocytosis
  • Untreated Decreased Level of Thyroid Hormones
  • Decreased Function of the Adrenal Gland
  • alcohol intoxication
  • drug abuse
  • Cor Pulmonale
  • abnormally low blood pressure
  • asthma
  • Asthma Attack
  • Decreased Lung Function
  • constipation
  • severe liver disease
  • Biliary and Gallbladder Problem
  • seizures
  • Shock
  • Weakened Patient
  • a mother who is producing milk and breastfeeding
  • High Pressure Within the Skull
  • CYP2D6 ultrarapid metabolizer
  • sleep apnea due to airway obstruction
  • Surgical Removal of the Adenoids in Pediatric Patient
  • Surgical Removal of the Tonsils in Pediatric Patient
  • kidney disease with likely reduction in kidney function
