How the interaction occurs:
Antacids that contain aluminum or magnesium may prevent your body from absorbing your strontium.
What might happen:
Your strontium may not work as well.
What you should do about this interaction:
If you take antacids containing aluminum or magnesium, wait until two hours after taking your strontium to takye your antacid. If you have to take an antacid at bedtime with your strontium, discuss it with your doctor.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
