Who should not take Intermezzo Tablet, Sublingual?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:


  • confusion
  • suicidal thoughts
  • alcohol intoxication
  • drug abuse
  • depression
  • aggressive behavior
  • attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity
  • myasthenia gravis
  • a skeletal muscle disorder
  • worsening of debilitating chronic lung disease called COPD
  • liver problems
  • severe liver disease
  • memory loss
  • hallucinations
  • sleep apnea
  • weakened patient
  • complex sleep behaviors like eating or driving while asleep
