- Contraindication: Contraindicated age < 6 years. Deaths observed in studies in juvenile mice. Increased expression of intestinal guanylate cyclase-C receptors may predispose to toxicity.
- Severe Precaution: Avoid use. Deaths observed in younger juvenile mice studies. Safety and efficacy not established.
