If you are PREGNANT
- Not Recommended:
If you are NURSING
- Precaution: POOR ORAL BIOAVAILABILITY AND SHORT HALF-LIFE; UNLIKELY TO AFFECT INFANT.
If you are an adult over 60
- management or monitoring precaution: Cardiovascular-Increased risk of cardiovascular side effects: tachycardia, Neuro/Psych-Increased risk of neuropsychological adverse events.
Giving Haloperidol to a child under 12
- Severe Precaution: Hold leg firmly with younger child during administration. Use weight based dosing (0.01mg/kg). If weight is <30kg, use lower strength solution (0.15mg).
