    What should I know regarding pregnancy, nursing and administering Fetzima to children or the elderly?

    If you are:

    Pregnant:

    Only When Necessary: NON-TERATOGENIC COMPLICATIONS (RESP, GI,CNS) WITH EXPOSURE DURING 3RD TRIMESTER

    Nursing:

    Precaution: INSUFFICIENT HUMAN DATA AVAILABLE

    An adult over 60:

    management or monitoring precaution: Endocrine-Increased risk of hyponatremia and SIADH which may increase fall risk. Renal-Decrease dose by 50% for CrCL less than 30 mL/min. Cardiovascular-May elevate blood pressure and increase heart rate. Caution with underlying cardiovascular disease.

    Giving Fetzima to a child under 12:

    Severe Precaution: Possible increased suicidal ideation and attempt. Not approved or recommended for pediatric use.
