If you are PREGNANT

  • Not Recommended: BASED ON THE DRUG'S MECH OF ACTION, B CELL DEPLETION IS LIKELY TO OCCUR IN FETUS

If you are NURSING

  • Precaution: INSUFFICIENT HUMAN DATA AVAIL; MANUFACTURER DOES NOT RECOMMEND

If you are an adult over 60

  • management or monitoring precaution: General-Elderly may experience a higher incidence of serious infections (e.g. sepsis, pneumonia, opportunisitc infection and catheter site infection). Neuro/Psych-Elderly may experience higher incidence of adverse neurological reactions such as encephalopathy, convulsions, speech disorders, disturbances in consciousness, confusion and disorientation, and coordination and balance disorders. Consider the patient's fall risk.

Giving Blinatumomab Kit to a child under 12

  • management or monitoring precaution: Increased risk of anemia, thrombocytopenia, hypertension, in pediatrics and hypokalemia in infants.
