Who should not take MKO (MIDAZOLAM-KETAMINE-ONDAN)?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

Conditions:

  • confusion
  • alcoholism
  • alcohol intoxication
  • increased spinal fluid pressure
  • increased pressure in the eye
  • significant uncontrolled high blood pressure
  • sudden and serious symptoms of heart failure called acute decompensated heart failure
  • failure of the heart to maintain adequate circulation
  • decreased lung function
  • delirium
  • abnormal liver function tests
  • drug abuse
  • closed angle glaucoma
  • chronic heart failure
  • constriction of blood vessels of the extremities
  • obstructive pulmonary disease
  • hardening of the liver
  • acute kidney failure
  • coma
  • a condition where the body is unable to maintain adequate blood flow called shock
  • pregnancy
  • instability of the heart or circulation
