  • management or monitoring precaution: Neuro/Psych-Dizziness occurred more frequently in patients >65 years of age (19%) compared to patients <65 years (14%). May increase fall risk and medication nonadherence. Cardiovascular - May increase systolic blood pressure after a single dose. Consider evaluating blood pressure after administration. Heart rate may decrease on average 5-10 bpm. Monitor heart rate; use with caution in patients taking concomitant medications that lower heart rate to minimize bradycardia risk.
