If you are NURSING
- Precaution: DISCONTINUE BREASTFEEDING UNTIL CIRCULATING DRUG LEVELS NO LONGER DETECTABLE
If you are an adult over 60
- management or monitoring precaution: General-Increased risk of Grade 3-4 reactions, including serious infections, malignancies and cardiovascular events in the elderly. Cardiovascular-Increased risk for supraventricular tachycardia, Pulmonary-Increased incidence of pneumonia, and pneumonitis.
Giving Haloperidol to a child under 12
- Severe Precaution: Potential risk for prolonged immunosuppression/hypogammaglobulinemia. Safety and efficacy not established in age < 2 years.
- Severe Precaution: Risk for prolonged immunosuppression/hypogammaglobulinemia.
