  • visible water retention
  • heart throbbing or pounding
  • abnormal liver function tests
  • worsening of chronic heart failure
  • a high alanine transaminase level
  • a high aspartate transaminase level

If experienced, these tend to have a Less Severe expression i

  • low blood pressure
  • inflammation of the tissue lining the sinuses
  • joint pain
  • fainting
  • chest pain

RARE side effects

If experienced, these tend to have a Severe expression i

  • decreased blood platelets
  • low levels of white blood cells
  • low levels of a type of white blood cell called neutrophils
  • increased eosinophils in the blood
  • hardening of the liver
  • liver damage
  • liver failure
  • a skin rash
  • high amount of bilirubin in the blood
  • a type of allergic reaction called angioedema
  • a hypersensitivity reaction to a drug
  • a yellowing of the eyes or skin from buildup of bilirubin called jaundice
  • a type of significant allergic skin reaction called DRESS syndrome
