    If you are:

    Pregnant:

    Nursing:

    Absolute Contraindication: AMPHETAMINES CONCENTRATE IN MILK. POTENTIAL ADVERSE EFFECTS IN INFANT.

    An adult over 60:

    management or monitoring precaution: Neuro/Psych-May exacerbate pre-existing insomnia. Cardiovascular-May exacerbate pre-existing coronary insufficiency, cause or exacerbate peripheral vasculopathy. Gastrointestinal-Anorexia may cause significant weight loss.

    Giving dextroamphetamine-amphetamine to a child under 12:

    Severe Precaution: Risk of sudden death with cardiac structural defects. Do not use with cardiac abnormality, cardiomyopathy, serious heart rhythm abnormality. Long term use may cause weight loss, slowed growth. Manufacturer does not recommend or not studied age < 6 years.

    management or monitoring precaution: Warning with underlying cardiac structural defect, cardiomyopathy or serious arrhythmia. Monitor growth and behavior and for development of cardiac symptoms. Rare risk of priapism.

    management or monitoring precaution: Contraindicated in cardiac structural defects;monitor growth and behavior including suicidal ideation.

    Severe Precaution: Increased cardiac risk with structural defects. May affect growth rate. Increased insomnia, anorexia. Not recommended per manufacturer age < 13 years.

    management or monitoring precaution: Monitor growth, behavior, suicidal ideation. Risk with cardiac structural defect.

    management or monitoring precaution: Risk with cardiac structural defect; monitor growth and behavior. Rare reports of suicidal ideation.

    Severe Precaution: Risk with cardiac structural defects. Risk of slowed growth. behavioral changes, new or breakthrough seizure, suicidal ideation, visual disturbances. Not recommended age < 3 years for ADHD

    Severe Precaution: Not recommended age <3 years for ADHD. Contraindicated with symptomatic cardiac disease or agitated state. Long term effects not well studied. May affect growth rate, behavioral changes including reports of suicide. Risk of new or breakthrough seizure, visual disturbances.
