If you are PREGNANT

If you are NURSING

  • Absolute Contraindication: MUTAGENIC DRUG, MOLECULAR WEIGHT LOW ENOUGH FOR POSSIBLE BREASTMILK EXCRETION

If you are an adult over 60

  • management or monitoring precaution: Increased risk of renal, neurologic and hematologic toxicities. May need to reduce dose. May cause or exacerbate SIADH in elderly; monitor sodium levels when changing doses.

Giving Carboplatin Vial to a child under 12

  • management or monitoring precaution: Safety and efficacy not established in pediatrics.
