  • management or monitoring precaution: General-Increased risk of grade IV neutropenia and myelosuppression. Cardiovascular-Increased incidence of CV events (bradycardia, hypotension, abnormal ECG) and pulmonary edema. Neuro/Psych-Elderly experienced an increased incidence of peripheral neuropathy. Hepatic-Adjust dose as recommended for hepatic impairment. Gastrointestinal- Increased incidence of diarrhea, decreased appetite, dehydration in elderly.

Giving Taxol Concentrate to a child under 12

  • Severe Precaution: Rare reports of CNS toxicity. No safety and efficacy established in pediatrics.
