How the interaction occurs:
When food (especially high-fat food) is taken with griseofulvin, it may allow more of this medicine to dissolve in the stomach and reach the bloodstream.
What might happen:
Your blood levels of this medicine may increase, as well as the beneficial effects.
What you should do about this interaction:
Take this medicine with milk or a high-fat meal. Contact your healthcare professional (e.g., doctor or pharmacist) for more information, especially regarding your diet (milk is generally a better health choice than a high-fat meal).Your healthcare professionals may be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change your medicine or diet before checking with them first.
