Who should not take Oxymetholone Oral?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

Conditions:

  • high blood calcium from metastatic breast cancer
  • breast cancer in a male patient
  • cancer of the prostate gland
  • diabetes
  • high cholesterol
  • increased risk of bleeding due to clotting disorder
  • coronary artery disease
  • chronic heart failure
  • hardening of the arteries due to plaque buildup
  • microscopic blood-filled cavities in the liver
  • liver problems
  • severe liver disease
  • nephrotic syndrome, a type of kidney disorder
  • decreased kidney function
  • enlarged prostate
  • visible water retention
  • abnormal liver function tests
  • pregnancy
  • a patient who is producing milk and breastfeeding
  • low HDL cholesterol
