Who should not take Oxymetholone Oral?
The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:
Conditions:
- high blood calcium from metastatic breast cancer
- breast cancer in a male patient
- cancer of the prostate gland
- diabetes
- high cholesterol
- increased risk of bleeding due to clotting disorder
- coronary artery disease
- chronic heart failure
- hardening of the arteries due to plaque buildup
- microscopic blood-filled cavities in the liver
- liver problems
- severe liver disease
- nephrotic syndrome, a type of kidney disorder
- decreased kidney function
- enlarged prostate
- visible water retention
- abnormal liver function tests
- pregnancy
- a patient who is producing milk and breastfeeding
- low HDL cholesterol
