If you are PREGNANT

If you are NURSING

  • Absolute Contraindication: RISK FOR SERIOUS ADVERSE EFFECTS

If you are an adult over 60

  • management or monitoring precaution: Renal-Impairment may predispose to the development of toxicity.

Giving Cytoxan Solution, Reconstituted (Recon Soln) to a child under 12

  • management or monitoring precaution: Reports of ovarian fibrosis with loss of germ cells after prolonged treatment in girls treated late pre-pubescence. Girls with retained ovarian function after treatment completion are at increased risk of developing premature menopause. Risk of oligospermia/azoospermia (may be reversible years after treatment) and increased gonadotropin secretion despite normal secondary sexual characteristic development in pre-pubescent boys. Testicular atrophy may occur.
