    Absolute Contraindication: POTENTIAL FOR SERIOUS ADVERSE REACTION IN NURSING INFANT

    An adult over 60:

    management or monitoring precaution: General-Increased risk for fatigue, dehydration, hypokalemia and syncope. Gastrointestinal-Increased risk for diarrhea. Hematologic-Increased risk for leukopenia Pulmonary-Monitor for interstitial lung disease/fibrosis. Hepatic-Monitor LFTs. Renal-Monitor serum creatinine. Neuro/Psych-Monitor for peripheral neuropathy and RPLS.

    Giving Eloxatin Vial to a child under 12:

    management or monitoring precaution: Limited efficacy demonstrated for solid tumors in pediatric studies. Risk of paresthesia, thrombocytopenia.
