  • management or monitoring precaution: Renal-Substantial renal excretion predisposes elderly to increased risk of adverse reactions with renal impairment. Hepatic-Elderly patients are more likely to have decreased hepatic function thus further decreasing drug clearance. Cardiovascular-Hypertensive effects may be more pronounced in the elderly and increase the risk for cardiovascular events in those with cardiovascular disease. Evaluate patient and avoid use in patients with cerebrovascular conditions.

    • Pediatric use

  • Severe Precaution: No established efficacy in adolescent migraine study. Adverse reactions observed in this clinical trial were similar in nature to those reported in clinical trials in adults.
