    An adult over 60:

    Contraindication: Renal-Substantial renal excretion predisposes elderly to increased risk of adverse reactions with renal impairment. Hepatic-Elderly patients are more likely to have decreased hepatic function thus further decreasing drug clearance. Cardiovascular-Hypertensive effects may be more pronounced in the elderly and increase the risk for cardiovascular events in those with cardiovascular disease. Evaluate patient and avoid use in patients with cerebrovascular conditions.

    Giving Amerge to a child under 12:

    management or monitoring precaution: No established efficacy in adolescent migraine study.
