Uses

Shark cartilage has been used for cancer. However, this product has not been found to be effective when used for cancer. If you have cancer or think you may have cancer, consult your doctor right away for more details and for proper treatment of your condition. Using this product alone without proper medical care for your condition may cause serious (possibly fatal) health problems.This product has also been used for arthritis and psoriasis.This product is not recommended for use in children.Some herbal/diet supplement products have been found to contain possibly harmful impurities/additives. How to use Shark Cartilage 700 Mg Capsule

Take this product by mouth as directed. Follow all directions and warnings on the product package. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

If you are mixing the powdered or liquid form of this product with juice, mix the product right before use. Do not prepare a supply in advance.

If your condition lasts or gets worse, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, get medical help right away.

Side Effects

Nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, changes in taste, or constipation may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including: signs of liver disease (such as nausea/vomiting that doesn't stop, yellowing eyes/skin, severe stomach/abdominal pain, dark urine), weakness, unusual tiredness, dizziness, increased thirst/urination, shakiness, mental/mood changes (such as confusion, nervousness).

A very serious allergic reaction to this product is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

Precautions

Before taking shark cartilage, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to chondroitin; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: high level of calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia), diabetes, heart/blood vessel disease (such as peripheral vascular disease), kidney disease, liver disease, recent surgery/injury.

Liquid forms of this product may contain sugar and/or alcohol. Caution is advised if you have diabetes, alcohol dependence, or liver disease. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about using this product safely.

This product is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your doctor for more details.

It is unknown if this product passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Interactions

Overdose

If someone has overdosed and has serious symptoms such as passing out or trouble breathing, call 911. Otherwise, call a poison control center right away. US residents can call their local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. Canada residents can call a provincial poison control center.

Missed Dose Missed Dose

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Take your next dose at the regular time. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Storage Storage

Refer to storage information printed on the package. If you have any questions about storage, ask your pharmacist. Keep all medications and herbal products away from children and pets.

Do not flush medications down the toilet or pour them into a drain unless instructed to do so. Properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed. Consult your pharmacist or local waste disposal company.
