- management or monitoring precaution: Cardiovascular-Elderly are more sensitive to hypotensive effects. Avoid over diuresis. Metabolic-Elderly are more sensitive to drug induced electrolyte loss. Monitor serum potassium and magnesium.
Giving Haloperidol to a child under 12
- Severe Precaution: Caution in hyperbilirubinemia. Slower elimination with underlying respiratory disorder.
