If you are PREGNANT
- Not Recommended: INSUFF HUMAN DATA; BASED ON DRUG PHARMACOLOGY AND ANIMAL DATA DEV TOX MAY OCCUR
If you are NURSING
- Absolute Contraindication: EXCRETED IN MOUSE STUDIES;POTENTIAL SEVERE ADVERSE EFFECTS ON INFANT
If you are an adult over 60
- management or monitoring precaution: General-Age >60 at higher risk for adverse effects and coagulopathy.
Giving Xeloda to a child under 12
- management or monitoring precaution: Increased rate of lab abnormalities, e.g. hyponatremia, lymphocytopenia. Lack of clinical benefit. No safety and efficacy established.
