If you are PREGNANT

- Precaution: RACEMIC ZOPICLONE EXCRETED; INFANT SEDATION POSS; LONG TERM CNS EFFECT UNKNWN
If you are an adult over 60
- management or monitoring precaution: Neuro/Psych-Starting dose at 1 mg; do not exceed 2 mg. Increased cognitive impairment, delirium, and fall risk in the elderly. Avoid chronic use over 90 days.
Giving Haloperidol to a child under 12
- Severe Precaution: Risk of dizziness, and psychiatric adverse effects (hallucinations, suicidal ideation). No significant effect on sleep onset latency.
