If you are PREGNANT
- Not Recommended:
If you are NURSING
- Precaution: AVOID DURING TX AND FOR 4 WEEKS AFTER LAST DOSE
If you are an adult over 60
- management or monitoring precaution: General-In clinical trials, 16% of elderly patients experienced Grade 3-4 reactions. Cardiovascular-Aortic dissection and aortic aneurysm were more frequently reported in older patients.
Giving Haloperidol to a child under 12
- Severe Precaution: No efficacy response and poor tolerability reported in patients enrolled in small pediatric trials. Risk of cardiotoxicity and possible reversible bone growth plate dysplasia.
