I was prescribed this medication for Cellulitis and infection of my lower right leg. So far it seems to work just fine. I read the other reviews and there was no mention that it seems to work like a diuretic and causes extreme cramping. It maybe my other meds, but I didn't experience these until I started this medication.

Extreme stomach cramps

severe rash at all joints--knees--elbows--knuckles on hands---backs of legs-welt like-has lasted two months after final perscription taken------

72 y/o male paraplegic, 170 #, taking this for Staph. Aureus (& Diflucan=candiasis) for Osteomyelitis, wound infection of coccyx (tail bone). Was switched from IV oxacillin for 30 days until he has muscle flap surgery at end of this month. Though taking 1 hr before or 2 hr after meals, still has nausea and belching which causes bad taste of drug, coming up from his stomach. Urine has had rust-colored sediment resembling sand; maybe this sediment is kidney stones or a discoloration normal sediment caused by the medication or interactions with medications he takes. Used for mastitis. Wiped out the flu-like symptoms within 36 hours. Took some planning to be sure I was not eating too close to next dose.

I was told my infection on my mouth would clear up in a few days along using an antibiotic cream,bactroban cream. My infection seems to be getting worse instead of better & it's spreading. The scab is gone but my mouth & face feel burnt & it's swollen.

Had a pretty nasty sinus infecting that cause alot of swelling to my throat due to all the drainage i could notice in 2 days how much it dried me up

I had cellulitis. It worked very well for that. The pain was gone within a day and the area was healed around day 4. However, it was about that time when I developed a burning sensation in my throat. It burned all day and even more a couple hours after taking this drug. This hurt more then the cellulitis did. I would not recommend its use to anyone!

i have ben taking this drug for mastitis for 2 days and i can already say its workin but itmakes me feel like i cant do anything because of severe chest pain and abdomina pain dont like that part

I take this medication for Acute Cellulitis in upper thighs. This medication is for skin issues and bacterial infections. It works wonderfully and quickly for me with no side effects at all. I would be miserable without it, when needed.

Have been on this med for 2 days and have felt so queasy. It's awful. I am tryig to get my doc to change the prescription.

Althouigh effective in treatment of my respiratory condition, I had an intense headache and all over body pain & malaise for the entir time I was on it. As soon as I stopped taking the medication my head pain was gone. The last few days the pain was increasingly severe.

I was stung by a bee and the area around the sting was extremely red and my ankle was swollen. My doctor put me on the medication on Monday and by Friday I noticed my face looked a bit swollen and my neck had a rash that itched like crazy. Saturday when I woke up my skin around my eyes were swollen and itchy, the left side of my face is numb and tingling and I have hives/rash. Will not take this medication again.

Mastitis, a breastfeeding infection. Seems to have started working right away. Medicine tastes bad and makes me feel disoriented!

I have used this medication for an eye infection. I dont think it worked. Above all it made me feel week and louzy all day long.

Took it for Mastitis and it cured the mastitis right away but 4 days into treatment I had severe abdominal pain and diarrhea. I was incapacitated longer with the drug than I was the Mastitis.

It made me queezy throughout the day, not happy with this pill at all.
