I was started on clomid 50mg due to having irregular periods causing difficulty concieving. I had been using ovulation tests prior to starting clomid and usually i was ovulating.. but not always. Also the length of my cycle would be 38days one month then 27 the next. So I took one round of clomid, I ovulated one week after the last dose of clomid and got pregnant that month! The only side effect I...

I was albe to get pregnant on my first cycle. Now that I'm trying again, I'm on my 4th cycle and no luck. We had to decrease dosing due to my PCOS and enlarged ovaries.

I have been trying for years to get pregnant and stay pregnant. 1st time I used clomid I got pregnant after the 4th cycle, but m/c after 6 weeks. 1 1/2 year later did clomid again for 2 failed IUI's. After giving up for 4 months I got pregnant on my own, but m/c after 16 weeks due to an incompetent cervix. I thought getting pregnant would be easier than this, the clomid takes a lot out of me when I take it.

I am on my second cycle and hoping for the last. Prior to the clomid, I had been trying for 2 years with no luck. I have my fingers, toes, eyes, and everything else crossed.

I have polycystic ovaries and I just started Clomid in hopes of getting pregnant. I pray that this works. I've had hot flashes, mood swings, dizziness, headaches...and this is my first treatment...I hope it is not as bad next time around...

I got pregnant with my son while taking Clomid (along with an IUI). Now, trying to get pregnant for the 2nd time, I'm taking Clomid for the 6th month and this will be the last (shots are next). I often experienced severe headaches and fatigue at least 1-2 days of every Clomid cycle, and bloating. Overall, it was okay.

I conceived my son using clomid the first time after unexplained infertility. I am now about to start my second dose of clomid as we are ready for our next child.

Both of my sons are clomid babies. I am now taking clomid again in hopes of a 3rd child. It has a low risk of multitables. I had very little side effects. A small amount of cramping during ovulation. I would highly recommend clomid.

The previous reviewer said that she took clomid for 18 months without success. I think that you are only supposed to take it for 6 months. That is your doctor's fault for allowing you to go through that for 18 months. That's very sad considering the emotional effects that infertility causes. I'm glad to hear that you ended up getting pregnant on your own.

AT 34, suffered from Unexplained Infertility. I appeared to ovulate on my own, but was not getting pregnant (and dh's SA was through the roof). On a total of 5 cycles of clomid lifetime (50 mg each), I acheived pregnancy 3 times and am the mother of two boys. I had zero side effects.

I tried 50mg for 6 months, while I ovulated I never was able to concieve. With a dosage of 100mg I have been blessed 3 different times. I had horrible side effects but in the end it was worth it.
