It was prescribed for my face by my Dermatologist for Rosecea. I cleansed and dried my face and applied the lotion onto my face and scalp to stop itching. Within about three hours my face became extremely red and began a slight burning sensation. I tried to rinse it off with water but it continued the redness and burning for the next 24 hours until the redness and burning finally diminished. It left me with a very tender face and a general feeling of tiredness. I don't know if I used too much or whether I am allergic. I will not use again and will discuss this with my Dermatologist at my next visit. I suggest that, before using it, you should apply a small amount onto a small patch of skin and wait 24 hours before applying generally.
