My Uncle has either dry mouth or burning mouth syndrome probably caused by diabetes or all the meds he takes. Nothing seemed to help his pain in his mouth. Lidocaine Gel or liquid has been very effective for the pain.

Lidocaine Cream 5%. The strongest I can buy. Only 1 brand is available where I live. It is not on this site. "Senza." It is not for the mouth or internal use. The main ingredient is Benzyl Alcohol. (Non-Active ingredient. Much more than water. It will burn your insides) I am using it on my fissure. Just on the outside. It's fine. It works well, better than 2% gel inside. (0.2% Nifedipine is the main fissure medication that is working well.) I have put a dab of Lidocaine 5% cream on my abdomen, it's nice. I am currently seeing a specialist. I may have Crohn's or some form of Colitis. It's some of the worst pain of my life. Fissure and lower gut pain. I'm not a wimp. This is bed-ridden agony. I lose my appetite, I'm losing weight. Important because I am already slim. I go into shock, pass out. Ahgggh! I wouldn't wish this on anyone. The Dr. said: "Your skin, you don't look well." I look in the mirror. Then at him. I am pale and sickly! I've lost 10lbs since Christmas, while eating desserts and large/fatty portions. Don't ignore constant diarrhea. Listen to your body! Read More Read Less

Intense vaginal itching that has not responded to any other attempts to relieve. This worked the best of anything I have tried and was a God-send.

I HAD A VERY BAD SINUS INFECTION TO THE POINT THAT MY NOSE WAS BURNING SO BAD I WAS IN TEARS. PUTTING THE MED ON KLEENEX AND STUFFING IT UP MY NOSE WAS A GODSEND. IT STOPPED THE PAIN ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO SLEEP AND BE COMFORTABLE, THE ONLY BAD THING WAS HAVING TO LEARN TO BREATH THROUGH MY MOUTH FOR A FEW WEEKS.
