    I tested + for HSV1-4 those wondering if partner cheated unforn. there are many ways to attract including thru oral sex which is how i contracted mine. I had a cyst break open and my boyfriend had a canquer (sp?) sore. Just be aware there are multiple ways to get this!     I first found out that I had herpes 2 after being married to the same man for 14 years and having 2 kids that are 11 and 16. He says that he fust had friends and needed to talk to those little girls. I am 41 and had to go to the emergency room who reffered me to my obgyn and after a painful situation and plenty of test.     was wondering if anyone could help me with some answers - how long can herpes be dormant before an outbreak?     I contrated herpies 10yrs ago but my then partner & I both appeard with sores so not sure who gave 2 who. We were both prescribed Valtrex & find it is an excellent drug. I dnt suffer from outbreaks anymore but always keep meds around just in case. Ive only ever had 1 sore in the same place so managing my herpes hasnt really been a problem so ive chosen 2 only use meds when i feel nessessar ... Show Full Comment

    Got herpes in 20's, now 45- husband of 20 yrs has not gotten it - I only take for flare ups-usually after mom visits- but recently get super dizzy while taking - any recommendations?
