    I've had a cold for several weeks. I thought I was over it but it came back with a vengeance, probable from the little ones...anyway, I only take it at night when the cough becomes irritating and doesn't settle down.     If Bezonatate 200mg does not stop the nightime cough tickle, try taking it on an empty stomach just before bedtime. There seems to be a vast difference in effectiveness and speed depending on how quickly it is absorbed.

    I was experiencing heavy coughing at night before going to sleep for over an hour. Benzonatate did not seem to help at all. Requesting something stronger.

    I have been taking this medicine for last 5 days but minimal effect. I still cough severely in nights so I have asked my physician to prescribe another medicine.
