    Comment:
Have had UTIs in the past and CIPRO 500 MG works for me. This time doctor substituted this drug and I had an adverse reaction -- headache and nausea -- stopped taking, went back and got a prescription for CIPRO which I'd requested in the first place. Why can't doctors hear their patients? The nitrofurantoin did stop the pain and burning of the UTI but the side effects aren't worth it ... Show Full Comment

Couldn't understand what was causing the nausea, headache and dizziness so I decided to look up the side effects and found others had the same problems. No more for me!

This medicine has me feeling better than any other that has been prescribed. Only taking it for a few days, but have more energy and no pain.

After reading all the reviews I was scared to take this. So, I made sure to drink a full glass of water before I took it and right before bed. I took it with lunch and with dinner, in the middle of the meal. I never experienced any symptoms and took two a day for one week.
