My mother does not have altzheimers or dimensia but has memory problems. She is having severe nightmares and is very tired. I am taking her off this medicine and calling the doctor.

My husband has been on this med. for 2 years. I saw an immediate difference in him. He didnt have any bad side effects. He couldn't remember anything and was very confused before he started taking it. Within a week, his memory was better.

After only 2 weeks on the 5 mg dosage, my mother began having hallucinations. Dr. advised to immediately stop taking the drug and wait for one week with any hallucinations to determine next steps. Wish we had never started her on the drug.

My Dr. said I don't have Alzheimer's. He prescribed Aricept for my "Old age forgeting". I have taken it 4 wks and my thinking is clearer and I am more effecient in everything I'm doing---like my taxes now. Next week I will start 10 mg per night, instead of 5 mg. I feel like I have been FREED!
