I've been taking Sronyx on and off for 3 years. The only side effects I've had have been breast tenderness/growth (almost a full cup size). I tend to skip the sugar pills so I can skip my period but if I do that for more than 2 consecutive months it results in spotting. I'm also terrible about remembering to take it at the same time every day unless I set an alarm. Other than that, it works. No acne, no weight gain, no pregnancies.

Overall this has been great for me! No weight gain, cramps, and easy periods that only last a couple of days. My boobs have grown as well which is a nice plus!

These pills have caused me to have major constipation. This is my 2nd month in and I don't like them.

I was prescribed Sronyx as a way to control the amount of blood I lose during my very heavy periods. I have been on it for about 5 months now and here is my experience with it. I feel very normal taking this pill. About Me: -Age: 24 -Weight: 105 -Ethnicity: Hispanic -Sexually Active -I eat healthy -Little to Moderate Exercise My Experience: -Period was lighter after 1st month and has continued to stay light. I used to bleed for 5-6 days heavily and get severe cramps. Now my periods are light and will last 3 days. I am taking Sronyx 0.1/0.02. I was prescribed it after the nighamare of taking Lavora for 9 months. I wrote a review for that as well if you're interested or experiencing a bad time with it. I've taken sronyx for one month and am in my inactive week. On lavora I got my period on Thursday, but on sronyx it came on Wednesday instead. Lavora caused me to experience terrible anxiety and depression, but since switching I'm finally feeling like myself again. There have been almost no side effects, except for some nausea and dizziness when I first switch pills, but that was gone after the first week. I haven't had unprotected sex with it yet. So I can't accurately attest for the effectiveness, but so far I am very satisfied with the way it changed my mood for the better. My labido has gone up as well:) aside from feeling a little more tired than usual during my placebo week, this pill has been great. Don't write it off because of the negative reviews. You may be missing out on a great pill if you base your judgment off of how it interacts with others. The only way you'll be able to know if this pill will work for you is by taking it. Overall, I wasn't satisfied with Sronyx. It gave me mood swings, extreme breast tenderness and migranes. I have switched to a new medication, Enskyce and we'll see if that works better. I gave it 5 stars for effectiveness because I didn't get pregnant but I wasn't happy with the side effects it gave me.

Love this birth control. Made my boobs grow and lost weight. Ever since i've taken this pill i have noticed a decrease in appetite and has been my favorite method of birth control yet. So much better than the depo shot finally lost my weight from the shot!

This is my 6th birth control in 8 months. I am on day 4 or 5 and I want to kill someone. I hate my boyfriend (who happens to be amazing.) Needless to say this is my last day.

I have been using this pill for about 6 months now and I am not satisfied at all. My periods are much lighter and shorter and ive had no baby, but I have gained 15 pounds. I was 145lbs and now I am 160lbs. I am always eating, and always craving sweets since I have been on this pill. I feel so unhappy and fatigue and I am ready to end it!

I took wanted this for my bad acne; on day two, I came down with a horrible reaction; vomiting, nausea; I threw up for 7 hours, on and off. I will discontinue immediately.

I already have my tubes tied so was taking this to combat my heavy periods and PMS. I have been on it for 2 months and my PMS symptoms haven't changed at all. I am bloated all the time now, my stomach has been hurting/cramping pretty much since I started it, 0% sex drive since starting it. I have decided to stop taking it because of the side effects.

Okay, so this is my first birth control, I'm a 19 year old female who is usually happy go lucky, and have been misreable for the last two weeks. I took this after loestrin fe was discontinued and I really felt like I could not function at all. I had a migraine everyday, i even tried to switch the times slightly or take it with a meal, nothing helped. I was always on edge and would feel like an emotional wreck. Got really scared and switched to lo loestrin the nxt month, even though I have to pay a copay, its worth it.

I have been on Sronyx for a little over a year, and its worked in keeping a baby out of my plans.. But it may be in part that the drug has made my sex drive plummet enormously. So, no sex drive, and I have an almost constant craving for anything sweet. I feel like thats all I eat anymore. Miraculously, I have not gained much weight using it, but I have to really watch the scales.

i started taking this birth control 2 months ago. and if i even forget one or two pills i start a full blown period. I weigh 105 pounds, i can't be having random periods losing lots of blood. i go back to the obgyn next month and i am going to ask to switch birth control. this one also gives me headaches, makes my breasts sore, and makes me cramp sometimes out of no where.

If it was possible to give this pill zero stars, I would. Sronyx was the first pill I was put on when I first started taking birth control 3 years ago- and it was fine at first (nothing for me to compare it to). If I missed just ONE pill, or even took it late, I would get a full-blown period for a week straight. Not just spotting. The reason I'm switching brands now is because I have had my period/spotting nonstop for over 2 months straight now... even though I have not missed one pill and take it at the same time EVERY night. I am going crazy. Benefits of Sronyx for me- no weight gain, no cravings, no break outs, no babies, and no mood swings/getting emotional (it has a very low amount of estrogen). Side Effects- spotting/bleeding/excessive periods. I gave 5 stars for effectiveness because I haven't gotten pregnant. Idk if it has to do with the birth control, but last month my doctor switched me to this one. Ever since then I've had a period every week. It's a little frightening. Weight gain is small and it actually helped me as I was under weight before.

I was previously on Lessina and was perfectly happy with it.. until being switch to Sronyx little under a month ago, and i can't say i'm satisfied with this new birth control. Since I've been taking it, I've broke out terribly with acne (having perfect skin beforehand), Have had reoccurring stomach cramps, nausea, headaches, bloating, breast tenderness, fatigue/insomnia, sudden increased appetite/sudden decreased appetite, and pregnancy symptoms where there is no pregnancy.. I've gained 8 pounds in less than 3 weeks of this month, i've been extremely emotional (break out crying for no reason), and my depression has been forcing itself back into my life after overcoming it a whopping 4 year ago. Considering i'm still young at 18, the pregnancy prevention effectiveness it provides is the only reason i'm still taking Sronyx. i have been on this pill for a year. i must say i am quite pleased. not a baby in sight. i can say i have been a little more sleepy than usual. sometimes a few headaches, but that may not be because of the pill. no weight gain. but this is probably because i haven't been walking to the fridge and shoving fudgies in my mouth...like some of you apparently. overall...a good pill.
