I took this as an older child (12+) or young teenager some years ago before bed. I awoke in the middle of the night with what can only be described as a "fit": something far beyond nausea. The world was spinning and pounding, my heartbeat was rapid, and I barely mustered up the strength to call for my mother and collapse onto the couch. I laid there sweating, restless, and feeling (truly) like I was going to die or fall unconscious for a few hours before it finally faded and passed. To this day, I don't know what happened.
