I have used Neopro since August of 2012 after having RLS since 2006 and trying various other medicines. Overl Neuopro had been the best at relieving my RLS symptoms than one other medicine. However, the patch can fall of very easily and for me it works better on certain parts of the body more so than others leading to more movement on than part of the body which may give the patch a chance to fall off or come loose. When than happens, my RLS symptoms seem to be at thief worst. I recenlty had some trouble filling my latest medicine and was with ought the patch for 4 days with terrible side effects including restless leg. However, once those side effects wore off, I realized my RLS is not that bad any longer and I now opted not to fill this prescription. Although it had worked for me in the past, I think the side effects and the worsening of the symptoms do not make this a drug a want to take any longer. Read More Read Less

I have Restless Legs syndrome and have tried many medications that would help but not completely alleviate my symptoms. This patch works miracles, no RLS with it. One day I forgot to replace the patch after a shower and that evening my RLS symptoms came back with a vengeance.

It helps control my PD symptoms., but I'm concerned with my inability to sleep well at night. I rarely sleep beyond 3AM even though I take zolpidem as well. I also have serious lower leg cramps essentially every night. Are these concerns with using Neupro something that I should be worried about?

I'm taking this for acute RLS and it has completely relieved all symptoms and attacks. I also augment this with 1 mg. Ropinerole every night and hydrocodone twice daily. So far so good. My only complaint is frequent diarrhea which may or may not be related.

When first starting the medicine,I have experienced falling a sleep suddenly, hearing weird noises, tremors/occasional jerking, and hallucinations. I say hallucinations but these only occured when asleep. I would dream but they would be so real that when I would wake I would be disoriented would try to answer someone or call out to them. Example I dreamed I was speaking to my mother and I would wake and try to find her in my house before I realized it was a dream and she wasn't really there. The falling a sleep incidents happened several times. Some while speaking to someone. Another time while sitting and had a cup of tea and spilling it. The noises I heard were these weird squeaking sounds at random times. I continued the patches at 2mg because they helped with my leg pain and spasms. And I was able to sleep again as the pain was waking me. The tremors and jerking are random. The results have out weighed the side effects. I have been on them for a month now and the only side effect I experience now are the tremors and jerking.Read More Read Less

Dx with RLS via Sleep study. On Neupro patch x 18months (4mg). Continues to work well with some breakthroughs. For break through get in a hot epsom salt bath for a few minutes to calm the RLS. Always cover the patch with adhesive tape when I put it on or it would come off when I exercise or sweat. Continue to have constipation b/c of the patch side effect.

I've had RLS for years, prior medicine was only OK, this works great for me. Using the 2mg now, but as long as I keep the water and iron up also, I'm happy.

Started with 2 Mg for 7 days. Went to 4 Mg but had many reactions after about 3 days. Went back to 2 Mg and improvements for about 4 days and then some weird reactions. The Neurologist is guiding me thru this ordeal trying to find a routine that is acceptable and reliable in treating my case.

I have m.s. and have trouble with my leg muscles twitching, especially during the night. I haven't had twitching in the week and a half I've taken it, and I sleep much better as an added benefit. The patches don't stick very well, but I just read that I can use tape to help that problem. Also, even with insurance and their coupon, it's crazy expensive!

I have severe Willis-Ekbom disease (restless leg syndrome) and have had gastric bypass surgery. Transdermal is a perfect way for me to be sure I get the right dose of medication. This med works better for me than pramipexole or ropinerole, both immediate and extended release. I take 1299 mg gabapentin three times a day regardless of what other dopomine-agonist I'm takingand one hydrocodone for breakthrough restlessness PRN. Together, thesemeds give me close to total control, or at least they let me sit through church in the choir loft without squirrelly legs.Read More Read Less

I use the 20mg 24hr patch. But after 12-16 hrs patch site becomes so red, itchy and & with a burning feeling that I have to remove patch. Also 1-3 patches a month fall of. Some days & nights I still have bad RLS. My RLS was diagnosed during a sleep study for sleep apnea and Nuepro patch prescribed.
