So, I think this worked. I've used Aldara twice before. The first time it didn't really do anything. I think I was putting too much on. The second time, I used it 5 days a week, only used a tiny bit, and really rubbed it in. I was cleared in about 12 weeks. The warts reduced in size/faded until they were no longer there. That was years ago and none of the "successfully" treated warts came b...

After paying thru the nose for this "new wonder" drug, I have had worse symptoms than before. It did nothing to the warts except make them painful and inflamed. I continued use hoping for the best, but ended up throwing away the last 1/4 of the tube.

I used this product 3 times a day. I saw results in a week, and complete disappearance of each wart in 2-3 weeks. I had no irritation at all.

Veregen Helps me a lot, way better than Aldara cream. I read a lots of comments about its getting worser when using Veregen, thats very logical it wipes away also the underlying warts you never saw hidden under your skin! Veregen thrown out the underlaying virus under the skin, so yes thats why in the beginning its always getting worser. Unfortunately it isnt painless but if you hold on to this, it will become calm and you will experience a smooth skin again

Only been using this product for a few days but so far has been working on my plantar's warts!(Bottom of feet) The only issue I have is how sticky it is, I've had to use duct tape in order to protect my socks and shoes from getting this medicine all over them. Overall, my warts seem to be disappearing with no pain, inflammation, or anything!

I initially waited after discovering the warts for a few months before starting treatment. I have heard that the warts can fall off w/o treatment after a few months. That was not the case for me. After seeing a dermatologist he recommended Veregen. It is to be used for 16 weeks 3 times daily. The first 2-3 weeks of treatment, not much happened. 3-4 weeks I had a small amount of warts turn black and it seems like the warts spread a little. The warts that appeared to spread vanished in the 6-7 week of treatment. The main cluster showed no difference throughout the entire 16 week of treatment. During the 6-7 week of treatment the warts would excrete fluid that would cause staining of undergarments. I thought this was the begining of the end. This would occur throughout the balance of the treatment. There was not much change in the original size or shape of the warts during the course of the treatment. I was on the treatment plan for 17 weeks before returning to the det. doctor who tried cryo. This was extremely benifical. A blister formed over the treated area. The warts never really fell off as I have read that happened to various people. They just seem to slowly disappear. After a 2nd visit to the doctors office he said the warts were cleared.I believe the veregen used for 16 weeks brings the virus to a so-called head and the cryo finishes it off. there were not many side effects using besides slight itching, no pain and the staining of undergarments (sometimes heavy). I would highly recommend getting professional traetment (the sooner the better)and not trying any so-called home remediesRead More Read Less

I'm a male in my twenties and noticed a very small white or flesh colored bump around the area of my rectum one day, and with the use of a mirror, I was able to see it looked like a small skin tag or wart. I looked more and located 3 total. The dermatologist confirmed, and froze them. About a week later, I had not noticed any changes, so I decided to go with Veregen. I applied this cream on a Monday, and by Saturday/Sunday they had turned a dark color and began falling off (shower, restroom, etc.) About a week later, once all had cleared, I noticed another small bump that I thought I missed. I was familiar with what a GW looked like, and it was another small flesh colored bump. I applied this cream again, and while applying it I noticed another on the edge of my anus, so I applied Veregen around that area to. It was a mistake applying it to the general area and not the exact wart itself. I have since experienced blistering and soreness like never before. My rectum is very sore, and the blistering/inflammation has caused a lot of discomfort when sitting/readjusting in a seated position. Trying to pass stool and use the restroom is unbearable. The slightest touch of toilet paper in that area is so painful, to the point where I cannot even wipe. I am hoping this blistering goes down, because it has been a week, and this lady encounter showed signs of improvement after 5-6 days. It's important to note that this cream will dry into a paste, and leave a discolored coat of medication in that area. Do not use Q-tips to apply this, just use your fingers and then wash carefully afterwards. Aside of this pain (because I applied it outside of my actual GW) the medication seems very effective and easy. Read More Read Less

I started using Veragen and in about 2 weeks the pain and itching became unbearable along with some bleeding. This stuff seemed to make matters worse than it already was to begin with. I ended up having them frozen and after 6 weeks have not had a return but still seem to have an itch that just won't go away.

In the past I have used Aldara (which only kind of worked), acid treatment (same), then a combination of Condylox and freezing treatment which had great effect together but is very expensive. My doc gave me a bunch of samples of Veregen to use, then I moved. Using this for about 3-4 weeks now. At first I thought it made the GW's larger, but recently they have shrunken to smaller than before. The main side effect I've had is the blistering, but that was when I was applying to areas around my GW's. Now I apply it very precisely with minimal side effects. I am happy with the effects so far and am going to make an appt with a derm to freeze what I have left and continue to use Veregen simultaneously. I am also drinking about a quart of green tea per day, quit smoking, and quit drinking for now... boosts the immune system. Iwould recommend this to anyone who has a little patience, this is coming from someone who has done many different treatments. It may not be the best, but I'm very satisfied so far. Hope this helps. :)Read More Read Less

Unfortunately the Veregen has not worked for me. I've been on it about 8 weeks, now and although I haven't completed the full term I haven't seen any change. I have a severe breakout in my Inguinal area and have been dealing with denital warts for over 4 years unable to get rid of them. Veregen feels repulsive when it's on..gooey and filmy. I found things flaking off but quickly realized it was the dried up cream, not my warts. The pain was so bad from this drug, I actually went back to my Dermatologist and was willing to deal with the awful pain of the Chryotherapy for a quicker result. I tried to use the Veregen directly after to help the healing process (which I DO NOT recommend) it made the pain worse..extremely worse. My doctors were not aware that this would happen but directed me to discontinue use and allow the chryotherapy to do it's job. I think this cream should be recommended only for areas outside of the Inguinal area, possibly only the shaft and above, as the added moisture of the cream in the inguinal area only seems to irritate the warts more. I wish I had a better review, but this is my experience. I hope you have better luckRead More Read Less

Okay I started using veregen about 3weeks ago and when I first started it I was not very impressed since I had more warts show up than I started with. I continued using it and they started in 4 days turning white then about a week and a half later a bunch of them fell off. I was really excited and continued using it even though it did hurt and here I am 3 weeks total and my warts are gone. I would def recommend this product to anyone. Only problem I had was my insurance would not cover it cause they said it was not necessary so I contacted my doctor who gave me samples and I was able to complete my treatment....thanks veregenRead More Read Less

I had 5 warts around my fingernails that were getting progressively larger. I tried multiple other remedies for years (not freezing though, I knew it would hurt too much from previous experience) and after applying Veregen multiple times a day to the warts they slowly started to disappear. All 4 are gone and I'm waiting for the last bit of the 5th one to go away. I can finally paint my nails again and don't have to worry about hitting my warts on anything as they are very painful, especially on your fingers. The only drawback is that this medicine is very expensive BUT it does last a very long time as you only need a tiny bit on each wart. Read More Read Less

I had previously been using Zyclara, which worked well, but since I also have Psoriasis my skin became extremely sensitive. I had stopped using Zyclara for about three months before I received Veregen. In the mean time I had used Tea Tree Oil, which actually worked but was very hard to apply. The Veregen cream is in paste form, making it very easy to apply. Within only 4 days, the warts began to turn black--this is where I am currently. I'm very impressed, and there is hardly any pain. I'm also a smoker, so I suppose quitting will help--as well as a proper diet and exercise. I'm not sure if my issues are more complicated by the fact I have Psoriasis down there too, but Veregen seems not to exacerbate the psoriasis. Read More Read Less

I've been seeing a dermatologist for several years now. On and off, I'll get one wart and he'll electrocauterize it. All of a sudden, I get a ring of very small ones at the base of the glans and on the foreskin. Doc tells cauterizing isn't an option because, He gives me a sample of veregen. I start using it, and not seeing any effects (bad or good) I decide to fill the scrip and keep trying. $150 for 15 grams - with insurance! This is Green Tea extract! How does a drug company rationalize a supply chain that brings the their product to end consumers at $311 retail? Anyway, continued using and developed contact dermatitis. Which SUCKED. Itching, burning, tingling rash over my entire penis and scrotum. It was awful. Took 10 days to clear up. It kept me awake at night it was so bad. And, a few weeks later, I sloughed off a layer of scan. Started looking like a white calculus, but soon separate flakes were visible. Some, not all, but some of the warts went with this. Since then, my irritation/inflammation has been intermittent, and I'm periodically sloughing skin even though I've stopped using the veregen. I'm hoping this is my body *finally* mounting an immune response. Maybe I'll be hpv-free again soon. If that happens, I'd change this to a 5* rating without a second thought.Read More Read Less

I was so hopeful when I was given this medication. I loved the fact that it was more herbal than most drugs. I ended up being so disappointed! I was diagnosed in August. I was given Aldera but it did not work at all for me. I only had a few. I applied 3x/wk. Just made tender but not positive effects. The gyno did not give me many treatment choices. After doing some online research, I read about having them frozen by a dermatologist, which I did. This was not as painful as I read. Hurt for a few seconds, but then went away. The worst part was the black dots that appeared. The doc also said that I could try Veregen. She said that it didn't burn like Aldera, but it had to be used 3x/day. I used Veregen one night, then 3x the next day. Woke up on 3rd day and had huge red blister type spots that were totally worse than anything I had ever had. It was so painful, to the point that I skipped work After calling the nurse, I was told to come in. The doc wrote me a rx for a steroid cream but made the comment that it doesn't affect that many people that way, and if I really wanted to get rid of it quickly I would continue use because it was bringing toxins to the surface. After reading so many positive reviews I decided to tough it out and continue with the Veregen and not fill the rx. I continued to use for a wk, through the pain and taking many Aleve. At my follow up a wk later, the doc said that I was completely inflammed. The doc didn't know how I was standing it. Some of the larger spots that formed while taking the meds fell off while wiping to leave open sore spots) but new ones appeared, more than dissapeared. I was taken off Veregen, but on a steroid cream, antiobiotic cream and oral steroids. I feel as if I am ruined and the pain and spots will not go away! If you fill this rx and have lots of pain after a couple of days STOP! I will so be throwing this med away and just continuing the freezing every 2 wks after I'm healed enough to do so. Have been using this ointment for over a month and I have experienced all of the side effects listed on the leaflet. Burning, soreness, swelling, hard spots and sores. This is very painful. I am almost ready to discontinue this treatment. There are days when it seems like the warts are getting better, the skin that develops on the wart will peel away and the soreness will go away then the next day a new skin develops and the pain is back. I thought that after a month I would see improvement but it seems to be worse. I'll check back in later.Read More Read Less

I applied this only twice. I have flat warts over a large portion of my labia. I checked tonight and noticed white tissue paper like stuff everywhere (thought it was from wiping) but further examination revealed it was a very thin layer of skin peeling off. AND, my warts are nearly gone! After 2 times!!! I can hardly find them! This stuff is amazing! Go botanical/natural remedies! :) Hopefully there is more improvement to come! My Dr. didn't even know about this stuff. I did my own research and told her I wanted to try it. (after reading Aldara horror stories)Read More Read Less
