I have been taking this as a prenatal vitamin for about a month and have had no side effects. I always take it with my largest meal and therefore have not had any nausea that I've heard pre-natal vitamins can sometimes cause.

I have used this vitamin for two months and experienced a lot gazes and cramping. Not worth it for its prize.

I had constipation early in my pregnancy, but after starting these supplements that sure went away quickly. Also, they don't make me nauseous. I've been a little gassy, but that may not be the vitamins.

I tried a sample of this from my doctor and became constipated during the first day. Prior to this I was taking an OTC Pre-Natal and I had good bowel movements at least 2 times a day. I was surprised Citranatal Assure didn't work despite having a stool softener. I would not recommend these vitamins.

Using this during pre-conception. I've been taking this vitamin for a week, and so far: - Only one bowel movement a day, in the AM, about 2 hours after I awake. And when I have to go....I HAVE TO GO! Not fun at all. - Feel bloated, and think I'm retaining water. - Dehydrated despite drinking lots of water. I think I'm going to ask my doctor for a vitamin without a stool softener in it. I usually have a good BM 2-3 times a day. On this it's been reduced to a large one in the morning, with either nothing the rest of the day, or a couple of little tiny stools later in the day. Also, my belly feels squishy after taking this for a week, hence the guess of water weight gain. The vitamin hasn't upset my stomach, but I take it right before bed. Read More Read Less

CitraNatal Assure caused bloating, painful gas bubbles in my upper abdomen and constipation. This was the first sample my gynecologist provided me and I only took it for two days. On to PreNatal Elite...here's to hoping!
