Horrible horrible pill. I have been on it for 2 years. It gives me weird bumps on my chin that don't go away unless I pick at them and scab over into horrible pus scabs. I am not me, I yell at stupid things, cry for no reason and have suicidal thoughts. My emotions are like I am on my period times 10. I literally can't stop crying or being angry at everyone. This pill has completely changed who I ...

Like many other people, I was on Mircette, then Kariva, now Azurette. I have the same negative side effects with Azurette as I've had with all other types of pills (nausea, headaches). I've been very pleased so far though - the length of my periods has been cut in half and my libido has noticiably increased.

I have been on Mircette for years and Walgreens started refilling my prescriptions with Azurette. I have had constant period like bleeding for three months immediately after switching. I waited a month just to see if it would pass. It has been horrible. Skipping the last week doesn't stop my period like it should. Severe headaches and cramps as well.

I was on Kariva and was switched to this as a "preferred" drug. I cannnot beleive how horrible the transition has been. Major cramping, extended and heavier cycle, extreme moodiness, increased appetite and bloting. Oddly enough I put up with this a few months before calling to get my prescription changed to DAW (dispense as written) for Kariva.

Was on Mircette for many years with no problems, and was switched to Azurette when it came out. The only thing I've noticed is I've been having crazy, vivid dreams, and have a hard time sleeping, and I'm wondering if that's a side effect. Anyone else having this issue?

So far, so good! It's only been a couple weeks, but my skin is AMAZING. It gets clearer every day. I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, which was great, but wasn't as effective with my skin and had more side effects. With Azurette, there are no side effects that I notice so far. I'm fairly sensitive to side effects, so this was a nice change. I definitely recommend Azurette.

I used low dose Mircette and then generic Kariva for several years. Walgreens just switched their generic to Azurette and since I started taking it I get headaches, extremely sore breasts, nausea, bad cramps and lower back pain. I had to take a pregnancy test to make sure I wasnt pregnant! I wasnt, but it has been a monthly feeling 2 weeks prior to my period. I am very unhappy w/ this drug and will not be taking it starting next month.

This pill has caused me to bleed throughout the month. I am now on my 17th day of bleeding. I started bleeding again 5 days after I started taking the pill. I am very dissatisfied with this pill and I am going to let my doctor hear about it

For years, I've had trouble finding the right birth control pill and my search will continue. This particular pill made me extremely oily. I used to be able to go a few days without washing my hair and since being on this pill the grease has decided to unpack and stay awhile. It is horrible. Not only my hair, but my face has just produced so much oil lately it is insane. My skin is usually on the dry/very dry side, but not anymore. While my cramps are gone (when not on the pill my cramps are horrendous), I just haven't felt like this pill was meshing with me (I just stopped taking it yesterday, so we'll see if things go back to normal). This is just my personal experience, I'm sure it will work great for some people, but just not for me. Read More Read Less
