This drug works wonderfully and the difference it made in OAB was exceptional. The worst thing, which has become a huge problem for me, is that one of the side effects is "dry mouth" and it gets worse with time. It gets so bad that you eventually have NO saliva. This is the only side effect that I had but one that I just can't tolerate anymore. I never realized how important saliva is until y...

My OB/GYN perscribed this medication after I had explained my condition. He gave me a 30 day sample and I can honestly say I LOVE THIS MEDICATION. Not only because of the ease of use but mainly because after 1 week of use I noticed an amazing difference. I returned after the 30 days and begged my doctor for more!!!

It took a week or so then worked very well. I loved it but had to stop because it made me so fatigued I felt like a zombie.

This meidcation has saved me. I have been suffering from an overactive bladder and leakage issues since my daughter was born two years ago and this is the first time I have felt any form of relief. I no onger have to run to the bathroom or wear heavy duty pads for protection. I have had minor skin irritation but for me that is a small price to pay.

I am a 57 yr old female who was pretty happy with the oxytrol patch and my urologist suggested the gelnique which wouldn't have the patch type irritation (minor for me). For the last month my bladder has been distended and painful and now I find out that this symptom is probably my body's reaction to the gel! Lower back pain, pain in my pelvic region! Going back to the patch which was wonderful!

I'm a 72-year-old female with overactive bladder. I used Gelnique for 15 days and had to stop due to constant lower belly pain and excess bloating. Too bad, because from the first day, it really stopped the urgency and overactivity.

Best med I've used. Have had a couple of dizzy spells and possible side effect of making a compounded cream for hormones ineffective since last blood test show my hormones levels have lowered. Only change between blood tests is starting Gelnique. Used the patch for over a year and didn't have this problem.

My daughter was urinating 60 times a day.She was prescribed by for my daughter who was diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) This condition effects her bladder, heart, GI system and endocrine system. This medicine has been one of the few things that has improved her quality of life in the last 2 years! Thank God for it! It was prescribed at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

Made my vision blurry and gave me headaches. Tried only taking 1/2 of the packet but still with same results. Did only have to go to the BR 4/day versus hourly.

This was prescribed because I had leakage without the sensation of needing to void and the inability to control the leak. I've used it for 2 days but am having strange side effects. Within 2 hours of applying, I started feeling like I had a bladder infection--pain in urinating. I've had to void much more frequently than usual and today--I've had dramatic muscle aches and pains. Is this normal in the early stages of treatment?

I used patch version first but they gave me an itchy sandpaper rash and they wouldnt stay on. you have to use 2 patches per week. I started using gel and they do help. but they are messy. i first put it on my abdomen and i had a very bad pains in my stomach. I then started putting it on the back of my thigh. so far so good. but it does cost 65.00 a month after insurance . so i use it every other day. .

Love it, noticed improvement within 2 weeks. Have experienced some increase in dry mouth a night, but getting used to it. Minor discomfort when compared to the outstanding results I have experienced.

Our pediatric urologist prescribed this for our 8 year old daughter's nightime wetting. She was on Ditropan 5mg but the doctor wanted her to try the topical treatment. She has been on it for almost 90 days and has wet the bed only 2x's (almost nightly before using). She applies it herself, rotating locations to avoid iritation. Her only complaint is the stickiness. She also had daytime frequency before taking and it has been greatly minimized also. Our copay is double for this drug but we were able to fill a three month supply at the same copay as 1 month supply.Read More Read Less
