Condition: infection caused by bacteria
Overall rating 2.3
Ease of Use
My bacterial infection is Pseudomonas in my ethmoid sinuses. I was on twice a day infusion for 6 weeks. At that time I noticed an improvement in symptoms. Typical sinus infection. By the 10th day after completion of Cefepime I noticed symptoms returning. However, within the first 10 days of infusion I noticed my thinking had become "cloudy". I'm 77 yrs old. By the following week I became confused in my thinking. Various cognitive decline. It's been 6 weeks and I'm still having pronounced cognitive issues. Short term memory loss. Short attn span. Slowed response. Loosing tract of what I'm doing. If you are a senior I strongly advise to not take this medication. I am working on these issues, however, progress is minimal at this point. I hope this helps someone .Read More Read Less
