When I started taking this birthcontrol I absolutely loved it. I lost weight around month 3. I got one pimple every month while on my period but that did not bother me, but now on month three I am exhausted all the time and am having chest pains. I am also pretty grouchy at times. I just called my doctor to switch because these chest pains are nothing to play with! If your family has a history of ... Show Full Comment

This was the very first birth control I went on, which I started taking two years ago. At first, I gained some weight my boobs got bigger and I had crazy mood swings, then overtime it got better. I lost weight and went back down to my normal weight. My mood swings did get worse though. I got prescribed Prozac to take care of the PMDD but I was reluctant to go anti-depressants for premenstrual ... Show Full Comment

I began using this because my other BC was causing a drop in libido. I have been on it a year now. The first few months were good then suddenly very irregular periods began and acne from hell. I thought I would give it a chance to normalize but 6 months later. Same effects.

Started this pill at the beginning of June, am on my third pack now. The main side effects that I've experienced include sore boobs and irregular bleeding/spotting. So far I haven't gotten a period on this pill, which to many people is probably a benefit, but to me as an overanxious, sexually active 17 y/o brings on a lot of unnecessary worry/stress. I try to take it at 10 PM every night a ... Show Full Comment

In one month of taking this my skin broke out ridiculously. I developed acne on my cheeks and it even started on my neck just before I stopped taking it. My skin was pretty decent before this but I knew something was not right when I started developing several new pimples every day--the kind with white stuff in it--which has NEVER happened to me before. The first 2 days I thought ok, I'm start ... Show Full Comment
