Well i'm not pregnant and that's what birthcontrol is meant to do. So this works great! My boyfriend and I have been sexually active without protection. All previous reviews are pretty much just whiney people in my opinion. If youre trying to protect yourself from having a baby and it's working, don't complain. It is doing it's job effectively.

I'm going to college in 3 weeks and I have a boyfriend, so we're somewhat sexually active. So I decided to ask my Gynecologist to go birth control & she gave me syeda. I HATE IT SO MUCH! Me and my boyfriend are careful but using the pill we decided not use a condom - 2 weeks later my period doesn't come - I start freaking out and a week later it comes & the cramps are unbearable. I was told this p...

Terrible weight gain. Iâ??m a very thin person, size 2 and this pill made me gain 10lbs in less than 2 months, thatâ??s a lot for me. It was all water. My breasts were so swollen and went up 2 sizes. My belly looked popped like when I was 3 months pregnant! hated it. I tried to report that horrible weight increase to the company but they werenâ??t exactly receptive. I have taken Yaz and Yasmin in the past with no problems. Never again would I take this medication. Anyone who says that BC doesnâ??t cause weight gain, even if itâ??s water, is not being truthful. Thankfully it all went after 6 weeks. Iâ??m back into my jeans. Read More Read Less

the first month i had crazy stomach pains almost to the point of nausea but i had no period symptoms before i got my period such as mood swings or sore breasts. i did have some cramps during the first day of my period though. however, as i started using these pills more the cramps lessened. my flow was also less heavy than usual and didn’t last as long. my skin was always nice and smooth. I feel myself hungrier than usual though not sure if it’s because of the pills or just me

I love Syeda. It has completely cleared up my acne. But i’ve been on it for about 3 or 4 years now and every year I’ve gained 10 pounds and it hasn’t done much for my periods. Considering switching even though I got on it for acne and it cleared up amazingly.

Ive always taken ocella and it was great! I have to take birth control due to ovarian cyst and endometriosis. Ive been on Syeda now for a week and I have been nausea every day, I'm extremely irritable, i'm mean and want nothing to do with anyone. Im pissed off most the time and have no sex drive. This is not gonna work for me or my family.

I have been using Syeda for about a month now. I have noticed a bit more moodiness than usual, and it oftentimes feels like I'm having period symptoms when it comes to moods. I have also gained a lot of weight. Its a really convenient pill pack though, and its super easy to swallow, and carry around. My acne has been a lot better, but I'm still amazed at how much more I've been eating.

Ever since I started this birth control it has made me so moody and really emotional. My breast are really sore and seem a bit bigger. I have now been bleeding for 3 weeks since starting this pill.

On my third pack of Syeda! First two packs I had amazing outcomes- huge boosts in my moods, zero acne, glowing skin, etc. plus no period of period symptoms. However, third pack was extremely rocky. Bad cramps and heavy bleeding. This was continuous for a week and a half. Went on a prescription for ten days. After the new perscription- zero symptoms and am back on Syeda now.

I only ever see negative reviews for any birth control online. So I thought I would leave a positive one for Syeda. I have struggled with depression for years. My OBGYN initially prescribed me Junel. This made my mood plummet! So we decided to try Syeda instead. I was skeptical, but it has zero affect on me. Doesnâ??t change my mood. No weight gain or loss. Itâ??s just a little pill I swallow everyday. Different birth controls affect women differently. It is about working with your doctor to find what works best for you. Syeda does for me!Read More Read Less

Terrible mood swings and don’t feel like muse at all since starting this different BC my pharmacist switched to from Yasmin and Ocella. Be aware of the awful side effects of this pill. I’m tossing mine and getting back my Yasmin!

I've taken Yasmin or it's generics Ocello and Zarah for nearly 20 years for both birth control and PCOS. Two months ago my pharmacy changed to Syeda. I didn't think a thing about it until today, but I've been extremely moody, which is out of character for me. I'm extremely tired, grumpy, tearful and just feel like crap overall. I was considering making an appointment with a counselor and the pharmacy email popped up with my refill of Syeda. That was the moment I realized this medication is the change that triggered my current condition. I have already called the pharmacy and requested a different generic product.Read More Read Less

Mood swings? Maybe. But I am happily baby free so the pill is doing its job. PS: My butt looks a little bigger and that is a good thing in my book :)

Ive always had problems with acne growing up, and even after countless expensive tropical creams, face washes/scrubs, and home remedies I still hid behind layers of foundation whenever I left the house... A friend of mine told me that when she suffered from hormonal acne, birth control was her treatment! I figured, why not? Its worth a try. When I went to my doctor, she prescribed me with my first set of birth control pills, Gildess FE 1-20& I HATED IT It broke my face out x10 what I already had! It was horrible. I'm very light-skinned, so whenever I wash my face in the morning or come out of the shower, my face would be THROBBING red and it didn't help that there were disgusting acne bumps everywhere!!Prior to birth control, I only had acne on my cheeks/ chin, but then after a few weeks of taking Gildess FE 1-20, the acne migrated all over my forehead to the end of my jawline! I returned to the doctor, who suggested I stay on it for another 3months because the 'flare up' is caused by 'toxins' releasing to the surface of my skin, and then it should eventually clear up! It never did. So after 3+ month of Shitty-Gildess, I was then prescribed Ocela (a generic brand of Yasmin). After a month of Ocela, it was the first time in years that my face was clearing up! I was less red, less blotchy, less pimples!!! So happy BUT when I went to my pharmacy for a second refill, they gave me Syeda (a generic brand of Ocela) for insurance reasons. TBH I was pretty devastated because of my horrrible first experience with birth control, then when I finally found something that was working, it gets taken away from me! So I was verrrrrry skeptic about taking Syeda. But it saved my life. I went from pepperoni face to blank canvas in 3-4 months on Syeda. Very very light cramps / break outs a couple days before starting my period. But I can totally handle that! Overall, this birth control does a great job at what it says it does. Prevents pregnancy and treats acne. TY Syeda. Read More Read Less

I have been on ocella for about 3 years now. My pharmacy started giving me zarah instead, and it seemed to be just fine. Three months ago, I got switched to Syeda. I HATE IT. My boobs hurt and gone up a size, I've gained 5 pounds water weight, and even though I already have anxiety... It has gotten MUCH worse. The first two months I didn't even have a period. My third month I started after two days of sugar pills, and today with 3 days left until I start my next set of sugar pills, I AM STILL ON MY PERIOD. I won't bleed for a day and then bleed for two days. Makes no sense. I even thought I was having a bad pregnancy or something. Looked on this website and saw all the reviews and gratefully realized that nothing is wrong with my body and I am not pregnant, this birth control is just straight crap. I'm calling my gyno as soon as they open. Read More Read Less

Mood Swings - yes for sure but not any less moody than off the pill. Acne - completely gone 100% Syeda helped me with that. Depression - have not experienced any depression. Weight Gain - possibly, appetite and eating habits have changed and I've been taking the pill for 6 months + Lighter Period - definitely lightens your period as birth control should.. Overall I'd recommend this pill because the other birth controls I've tried have which gave me bloating, cramps, terrible acne, and a heavier period. Read More Read Less

With this medication, I have been able to avoid crippling PMS, terrible period onset hormone related acne, horrific hot flashes and night sweats, and periods! I take it non stop, never allowing a menstruation. I am so thankful for this medication i could shout it from the rooftops. It is a life saving game changer.
