want to know if one of the side effects is headaches

Hyzaar 100/25 worked well. No problems. Aetna used losartan for my last refill. Terrible burning in bones of hand, swelling, numbness and awful pain in hands about 2 hrs. After taking. Pain in leg and hips. Just standing takes a while to get moving. I am a very active person. I certainly didn't develop arthritis over night. Top of feet hurt to touch. Just threw away Losartan. I'll have to pay out of pocket for Hyzaar. Nothing is worth the pain or spending my time in the bathroom every 30 -45 min. All night long. It's enough to driven a person crazy.Read More Read Less

I don't have a long time history with this med. I have taken it twice and have been awakened both early mornings next day with muscle spasms in my legs and feet so bad I was screaming in pain. Not good in an apartment setting. Will call doctor tomorrow to let him know and get off it. Not worth what it costs.

I've been on Hyzaar for several years and was recently switched to the generic losartan hctz 100-25. I also suffer with severe Meniere's attacks for which I had recently had surgery. About the time I was recovering from surgery the pharmacy switched me to the generic form and I began suffering more frequent/severe Meniere's attacks. Switched back to the brand name (which I had to order out of Europe) and the attacks have abated from at least one severe attack every two weeks to no serious issues for the past two months. I have been taking it for 1 week and I have a cough all night long, hoping this goes away when I get use to it. It has lower my blood pressure alot, it does make me a little tired in the middle of the afternoon but I can handle that it is the cought I can not handle anyone else ciughing alot with it?

Extreme urinary frequency - socially unacceptable

Taking generic losartan hctz 100-25 for about 3 weeks now and at first I thought there were no side effects until I realize that I am becoming a very angry and impatient person. Avalide was making me dizzy and light headed - doctor switched. I just looked up the side effects and saw anxiety but I am getting close to physical violence. Anybody else feel this way?

This medication helped control my blood pressure with no side effects. Presently it no longer is a brand name but the pharmacies will charge for it as a brand name when in fact it only comes in genenric form.

Tired at first but symptoms went away in a few days. Still get dizzy standing up quick

I have been taking Hyzaar or Cozaar for about 3 years. I didn't realize until lately that this was what was causing my feet to feel numb and felt like I was walking on marbles when I put my shoes on. It also causes more swelling in my legs than I already had a problem with. I stopped taking it two weeks now and my feet still have numbness, but it is much better. I am hoping it has not caused lasting effects. I am very worried.

B/P under better control. Increased creatine level. MD currently considering another med.

After starting this medication I was told by 2 physicians I had fibromyagia because of the severe pain I was experiencing. I changed BP medication and I am not hurting anymore.
