This drug has been a life-changing medication for me. I have monthly attacks numbering at least 3 a month and was being taken into the emergency room at least 3 times a year for the past 20 years. Now when I feel an attack coming on, I inject myself and can be back to normal within the hour. There are times that I'm farther along in an attack after the shot, I rest and take another after 6 hours and at the most I am down a day, not the normal 3 to 5 days because of a full blown attack. Yes it can and does burn when administering a shot, but it is nothing compared to an attack. Plus I have made a point of administrating the shot very very slowly... It makes the difference.
