Sulfur and Sulfacetamide Emulsion were prescribed for roscea. It appears to have prevented further development of rosea on the face but left untouched areas which existed prior to this drug use. Twice a day the affected area must be washed before application, washed a second time with the drug, then washed a third time to remove the drug. To work up a lather, only a dab the size of a pea was needed to wash an area about 2 1/2 by 6 inches. I renewed the prescription to prevent further spread of rosacea.
