Been on albuterol inhalers for the past 20 years. Oral steroids, Pulmicort and Duonebs. Doctor gave me a trial of Breo and I was shocked. I don't ever remember having such a deep breath of air in my life. Trying to get my crappy insurance to cover Breo got me so infuriated that I dropped my insurance so I can get Breo covered monthly through another program. It means that much to me to be able to ...

Prior to using this medication I would wake up to three hours coughing and clearing my lungs. with one treatment before bedtime my breathing is effortless for a full 24 hours. Good stuff - this Breo!

I have had asthma issues my whole life but they have been getting worse the past couple years. I was using Asthmanex and Symbicort until a few months ago when I had more severe asthma issues than usual. My doctor put me on Breo for three weeks and I believe it helped significantly. Since I have been using it only when needed to recover quicker. I am highly satisfied with no negative side effects.

I made the mistake of trying this once, after being given a sample by my pulmonologist. It very nearly killed me. My blood pressure shot up and I got an instantaneous, blinding headache, severe chest pain that required 3 nitro to finally control, and a horrible and painful rattling in my chest with each breath. My breathing was so noisy that it could be heard from clear across the room. I also became very dizzy. All of this happened within less than 10 minutes, and most of it within 2-5 minutes. I would NEVER touch it again, under ANY circumstances!Read More Read Less

I have mild emphysema. Tried symbicort first but had severe tremors and a lot of flare-ups. Then tried breo - it has been a godsend - It is such a pleasure to be able to breathe!! No flare-ups and no tremors.

Works great, almost too well, too much energy, teeth clenching, depression symptoms, but no need for albuterol at all. Some itching and throat irritation, and blurry vision.

I have had severe asthma since the age of two. My physician switched me from advair to see if breo would give me better control and it definitely did. As a 32 year old for the first time in my life I wasn't chained to my rescue inhalers, I sincerely couldn't believe in the change. I didn't really have complaints on the advair she just wanted to try for better control which I doubted because I never had it before....but I do now!!!

I DO NOT HAVE TO USE MY ALBUTEROL EMERGENCY VERY OFTEN. What I FIND DISTURBING IS MY INSUANCE WILL NOT PAY FOR ALL OF IT.

Trying to get my crappy insurance to cover Breo got me so infuriated that I dropped my insurance so I can get Breo covered monthly through another program. It means that much to me to be able to breathe freely. I was diagnosed with asthma at age 6 (years of Theophyline). Have a history of bronchitis. I was in the ER with a bad asthma exacerbation two years ago and since then no other drug has controlled every day attacks. I get a very slight head ache at times - usually if I don't eat well while on the Breo. I noticed my nose is more stuffed than usual, however it clears up with a sinus rinse usually. Have not experienced too many other side effects. Read More Read Less

afteer experiencing leg cramps & awakening more often at night with Symbicort ( which otherwise was working well), my doctor had me try Breo Ellipta 100/25. I noticed an immediate improvement, almost as if I didn't need any medications it felt so good. I have been using it now daily for 4 months and it is still working very well with no side effects

This was suggested from my doctor. It is working and I have been using free samples. I am on Medicare Part D and this is expensive. Over $250.

like the others I am having great early success. I have noticed some behavioral changes and depression like symptoms. I am also more energetic. My doctor gave me a card with a # to call to get it free for one year

I've been taking Breo for asthma for nearly two months, and am extremely happy with it. I had a few minor side effects in the first few weeks(sore throat, scratchy voice) but they cleared up after a few days. I'm an active, sporty sort of person, and this stuff has really been a huge help.

as long as I am consistent with taking the Breo, I do great. I tried to get off it but on the 4th day I was filled up again. so my last visit with the doc he said just to take it every day and forget about trying to get off it.

My doctor prescribed brio ellipta and I got the first one free. It felt like I was cured. I was energetic and my lungs filled to capacity with every breath. I was so happy. But my insurance wouldn't let me have it. They said I had to take Symbicort which is okay, but I notice that I need it when its time for the next dose. Like one other person said it worked so well I could have forgotten to take the next dose. But when I read another person's review about blood blister in his mouth, I did get one of those as well. I didn't think about that until I read the review, but Breo Ellipta was well worth a blood blister. I wish my insurance would okay it. Read More Read Less
