I had been on steroids for 7 years, and this is the first time I have been off of them, this drug has saved my life!! I am not a fan of IV drugs due to the fact that my veins are shot from steroids, so now I have a port-a-cath, but it's still worth it! I truly believe I have my life back thanks to Remicade!! Don't put it off if you are thinking about trying it.

The infusion takes from 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I usually feel good the next day and have experienced no side effects.

after 3 days of treatment I suffered severe dizziness and nausea with severe headace with numbness in hands and feet. I am horrified to try another med and I work in the medical feild.

I went on Remicade after a developed a peri-anal fistula (yeah, scary) that would not close up with any other drug. Remicade completely healed my fistula within a week!! My Crohn's caused me to have severe cramping and constant diarrhea. My cramping is gone, but I still have diarrhea 2-8 times a week. But I don't think that's bad for moderate Crohn's disease. The only issue I have with the Remicade is that it makes me exhausted the day of treatment. Also, I have to be on the leukemia drug 6-MP and that knocks my immune system down. I get sick easily. I suffered a severe reaction after 3 iv treatments, remicade induced pneumonitis. be very careful and alert to symptoms.

This drug sucks for me. almost a year of treatments with very minimal if any improvement for my psoriasis. also I get very sore the day I get my treatment and for a few days after.

I have psoriatic arthritis and this is the most energy i have had in 10 years, not to mention that my skin looks so much better and my joints are improving too!!! Very happy with its progress!

I was having severe pain in my joints and trouble even doing my job. After I started remicade I was better almost immediately.

I have had 4 treatments and now I am starting to feel really tired and no energy at all. Has anyone had trouble with there eye's at all being on Remicade?

I have been on this medication for 10 months and have had some success with it, but am still having occasional stiffness and soreness in some joints with fatigue.

I am now able to take care of my 9 month baby. I was diagnosed RA at six weeks postpartum.

I do feel tired, and have minor body aches. But being in remission and steroid free is a great feeling .

I am in complete remision and have been for about two and a half years without side effects. I think you should at least try it it your doctor feels it right for you. The three hour infusion time has become me time and is a good time to unwind.

I have been on remicade for almost 6 years. I started on it when I was 16, after having Crohn's disease and severe Ulcerative Colitis since the age of 14. At the start of it, I was 5'0" and 77 lbs, my menstrual cycle had stopped,almost all my hair had fallen out and I was being cared for 24 hours a day. Within 1 year, I weighed 110 lbs, grew 2 inches, went back to school, my hair had grown back nicely. Also, my cycle returned to normal. I love this drug!! It has given me my life back...

Until I swtiched to Humira a few months ago, Remicade worked wonders for me. I never had an adverse effect from it. My experience was pleasant even though it required a trip to the hospital. I will use it again if I need it.

The experience I have had with taking this drug has given me back parts of my life that I thought were lost forever. I am able to do the simple things with ease such as getting out of bed. In taking Remicade I feel like my life has been given back to me again.
