Adult Acne, age 36. I actually left the house without putting on makeup for the first time in I cant remember. Cleared skin fast, does cause drying and flaking, but you can use a lotion after.

I have every kind of acne imaginable. Blackheads, cystic, whiteheads, exczema, acne scars. I found this to only help with cystic acne and whiteheads. It wasn't as magical as people described it really, but it did take away my painful pimples but I have bad blackheads still and bumps. Also it bleaches my towels and is hard to comfortably get a moisturizer over it. I tried going off of it three week...

This medicine is great for acne! However, like most pharmaceutical purchases, once the coupon expires through your insurance, the cost of this medication is astronomical, RIDICULOUS, and simply not worth it. Find a drugstore product, like Differin, that works for you and save your money rather than wasting it on an EXTREMELY overpriced but prescribed medication. If the pharmaceutical industry could be summed up in one word, I'd call it and the providers of Onexton PREDATORY.

I've been using this medication for 6 months now and my acne has improved dramatically. I never get breakouts any more. I use Differin Gel (OTC) at night and this during the day under my makeup. The only "moisturizer" I use is sunscreen that my dermatologist recommended. (Elta MD - Clear) Highly recommend this product!!

I've been using onexton for about a year and it's been the only thing that I can find that really helps my skin. I just leave it on overnight and by morning I can tell a big difference in my skin. Onexton in combination with drinking a lot of water really helped my complexion.

From 5th grade to my high school years, I had acne. It was all over my forehead, and then began lowering to my cheeks. When i went to my dermatologist she recommended Onexton and some pills. I have been using these for about 1-2 months and have seen incredible results. My skin is the best it has ever been, with very little breakouts and bumps. Although, I did have some scarring, so I used the dermaroller for that. You have to give this product some time though. In the beginning of using this, my skin broke out. But I soon found out that that was only the medication getting rid of all my future breakouts, it's part of the process. Give it time and be patient. Trust me, you will love the results. I have been using this for between 6 months and 1 year due to hormonal acne. For the first time in my life since my early teenage years, I am completely acne free. I use Onexton in the morning and Tazorac in the evening. I ALWAYS apply my moisturizer before I put on this medication because I was also having a lot of dryness, but not since I started doing that. I use CeraVe PM in the evening and Oil of Olay in the morning. I have noticed it is A LOT easier for me to have my face get sunburned so if I am on vacation at the beach and know I will be in the sun a lot then I typically will skip this medication because I know I will burn even with sunscreen on. If I am not at the beach then normal sunscreen works just fine and I don't burn. This medicine has been a wonderful thing for me and I would recommend it to anyone. Read More Read Less

I've always suffered from acne, I've literally tried everything from drugstore acne products to prescribed acne products and Onexton has been the only thing that has cleared my skin! Within the first night of using it my skin was already starting to clear up! I hope it never gets discontinued my skin is so beautiful when I use this.

I am in my late 20s and have dealt with severe acne for ages. It got to the point where my doctor had put me on Accutane when I was 15 years old for 6 months which worked extremely well. Then in my early 20s my acne started to come back but not as bad till after I had my daughter and decided to have an IUD....BIG mistake! Made my face breakout like I was hitting puberty again! Tried everything till I was prescribed Onexton in the morning and Tazorac at night and in 2 months my skin was glowing again! I still have some hormonal breakouts but not severe anymore. Highly recommend but a fair warning, it does cause dryness and some peeling for new skin growth!Read More Read Less

I've always had hormonal acne, but last summer the lower half of my face exploded with cystic acne. I was prescribed Onexton along with an antibiotic about 6 months ago. My skin is naturally on the dry side and the first month it was so dry and itchy I almost couldn't stand it, but once I got past those first few weeks my skin balanced itself back out I didn't have any spots at all. I stopped taking the antibiotic 2 months ago while continuing to use Onexton every night, and the only acne that has returned so far has been a couple very small spots during my period. I'll probably try using it only every other night to see if it makes a difference as it still dries my skin out a bit. The first month might have you ready to claw your skin off, especially you're using it in combination with another medication, but using a very gentle cleanser and heavy duty moisturizer (I used CeraVe products) will help to relieve the irritation. So far I'm very happy with the results I've gotten.Read More Read Less

I have had cystic acne on my chin and around my nose. This has worked wonders on my skin. I would caution those who have experienced extreme dryness to use it every other day, and to use less than a pea-sized amount. I really thankful that my derm prescribed this to me!

My acne was super bad, and I do agree that Onexton has helped ALOT! But, its been a month and my acne isn't all the way clear yet.. im just waiting for the day when it is all gone like all the other reviews say. Though I do think I make it worse by popping pimples which I know is bad.

I usually have really clear skin and get a breakout or two only around my period each month. I live in the desert. I had to go to Hawaii for work and ended up spending a whole month there. No problems at all while there because my skin loves humidity. But When I came back home my skin went crazy..was breaking out for a month, like every day. Finally saw a dermatologist and got onexton. Within days my skin was starting to clear up and now a week and half later my skin is perfect again. Love this medicine! Amazing results for me! Read More Read Less

Was on acanya for years. Went to the derm to get a refill and she told me I seemed so confident but that I still have acne. I told her yes but it was so much better than it ever had been, I was greatful. Now I just have small breakouts. My derm said she wanted to try onexton and I was leery...but I'm glad I took her advice. My skin is almost COMPLETELY CLEAR. I love onexton!

I've had a lot of acne scars and break out, I'm on month 3 slowly but surely the scars are fading haven't broke out. At night I wash my face with a face scrub then apply the gel wait until it dries and put on lotion so my face isn't dry I use Nivea body lotion. Love this product it's to a point I don't have to wear as much make up as I did to try and hide the scars or bumps.

This solution has helped me so much. My skin is so clear and evened out, it is unbelievable. The routine I've used is to wash with salycic acid face wash twice a day, and during the second wash, use witch hazel as a toner after washing. Once the toner dries, apply the medication and then a moisturizing lotion. I recommend using Neutrogena's Oil-Free lotion. This keeps the skin moist, and avoids any flaking or dryness the medication might cause. I am unbelievably happy with my skin.

When I first started using the treatment my face was super itchy and felt sunburned the following day. I was super frustrated with the effects because the medication was actually clearing my skin. The dry, itchy burning effects lasted for a couple weeks but now my skin is used to the effects and I am more then pleased. Ive noticed great results.

I started using the gel about a week or so ago. At first, my face became a lot smoother and clearer. But now, it is becoming very red, irritated, dry and itchy! You can literally see flakes all over the application site. And skin feels very tight. I am not too fond of this. Maybe it will improve with some more time. I am 21 years old white female with sensitive fair-skin That is acne-prone and combination type.
